Hawthorn Way allotment site is located in Chesterton behind houses near the Elizabeth Way / Chesterton Road roundabout.

The last time we checked, there were 5 ten-pole plots, with 10 people working them, well-overlooked by friendly neighbours.

There was an old-fashioned water pump installed by the council, loads of bindweed, four out of five plots are organic except for glyphosate, and there was a beehive, pollinating plants in a 2 mile radius.
